At the end of each Act, you will encounter one of the bosses for that act.
The boss is chosen randomly. (In Beta you can see which one is chosen by the boss-specific-picture on top of the Map)
The preceding space on the map will always be a Camp Fire (Rest), allowing you to rest before the fight.
After a boss fight you receive a chest with a choice of Rare cards (1 out of 3(4 with Question Card)), a choice of Boss relics (1 out of 3), gold, and a full (AscensionLvL 5+:75% of missing health) heal at the start of the next floor.
